  • Remote boiler computer controls by TPCI (TurnKey Process Controls) with plasma touch screen and all associated equipment.
  • All pumps.

  • Etc. were disassembled.
  • Rebearinged and balanced.
  • The turbine (5 MW) was disassembled and the turbine rotor and generator armature were checked out and balanced.
  • The air ejector.
  • Coolers.
  • Trip throttle valve.
  • Governor.
  • Etc. were checked out.
  • Repaired and refurbished.
  • The rotors were then laser-aligned and the unit was reassembled.
  • The transformers and cooling towers were completely inspected and refurbished.
  • The plant was run at capacity in November and December 2001 and January 2002.
  • This plant ran at 200 tons per day.
  • 15 tons/hr. at 48% moisture content.
  • Bark.
  • Shavings.
  • Sawdust and up to 5% rubber were burned.
  • To meet today's E.P.A. guidelines for air particulate.
  • A precipitator should be installed.
  • To burn a higher percentage of rubber and higher temperature fuel.
  • A 5,000º F refractory should be added.
  • This facility was installed in January of 1991 for $10 million.
  • It was operated for several years and mothballed in the mid-to-late 1990's.
  • In 2001.
  • An additional $2 million was spent to install new computer controls and other upgrades.
  • The plant was operated until 2002 and has been mothballed since.
  • The turbine is rolled once a week and the overall plant is in good operating condition.
  • Dismantling.
  • Shipping & re-installation approx. $1.5 million not including building.
