Description:
Capacity double sided machine for shaping, sanding and foiling. Min. 4 3/4" and max. 80" opening. 3 HP traverse drive with digital readouts. PLC controlled sequence startup from (1) push button. 60" long extended infeed with hand wheel adjustable fence on left side, overhead staggered holddowns with powered, caterpillar type rubber pads for working small parts, motorized opening which also allows a holddown to be raised up and out of the way for use of only (1) holddown in the center of both chains when butted up, front end thickness opening via hand wheel. Tenoner type feed chain with replaceable serrated urethane pads, dogs on 5" center, feed speed from 0-75 FPM. AC inverter controlled with digital readout of feed speed and overload protection, automatic chain lubrication. 7.5 HP feed drive. First workstation, top tilting trim or score saw with 2" diameter x 5 3/8" long saw arbor, 10 HP, 3600 RPM motor. Second workstation high speed shaper head, 10 HP motor, gear belt driven to 5600 or 7200 RPM, 1 1/4" diameter x 5" spindle, mounted on dovetail slide in back of first post and with vertical and horizontal adjustment and 90º tilt. Third station linear abrasive belt sanding head, 3 HP 1200 RPM motor, both sanding units tilt up to 75ºs with vertical and horizontal adjustment, 4" wide x 146" long abrasive belts, 4th and 5th stations double wheel foilers, mounted in line with 75º tilting adjustment, heat sensors check the heat directly from the roller, each unit equipped with a dispensing and rewind spool. Control panel at infeed. Motor stop button in the control panel and at outfeed. Hour meter.
