Capacity 150 HP main sanding head motor. 9-1/2" steel serrated contact drum head for aggressive material removal. 0 - 5-1/2" thickness opening will accomodate most parts. 52" x 103" sanding belts. 20 to 60 FFM variable feed speed; conveyor is powered by an electric motor driven through a mechanical variable speed reducer. 40" infeed conveyor on bottom head with backboard for hopper feeding. Hydraulic feed drive automatically varies feed speed to compensate for varying board thickness and allows full utilization of available abrasive head horsepower. Recommended for abrasaplaners. Motorized thickness adjustment. The thickness control handwheel is motorized for faster adjustment. Digital thickness indicator gives accurate measurement of change in thickness adjustment. Problem analyzer is a series of pilot lights which light up to indicate cause of shutdown. Dual acro-trac electronic tracking system monitors belt position and automatically compensates to maintain proper tracking of most belts. Load meter indicates percentages of full motor load and allows maximum utilization of available horsepower. Belt conveyor with rigid adjustable bed and spring-loaded double infeed and outfeed pinch rolls. Bed with ground backup plate located opposite abrasive head is supported by precision jack for rigid part support and accurate thickness adjustment. Double pinch rolls insure positive feed. Special conveyor belt is designed for abrasaplaning. Vacuum lift.
